During football season, the Alabama Firefighters Association Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Project will be hosting recruitment events at college campuses around Alabama.

The purpose of these is to create awareness for the need for volunteer firefighters.

We are inviting the Fire Service Explorer groups to participate in these events.

We need help at the events unloading, setting up, handing out flyers, wearing Sparky Dog costume and Smokey Bear costume.

Each person that helps us will receive a free t-shirt. We have tickets for a couple of the games.

For every game that an Explorer Group helps us, we will donate $100 to the Fire Service Explorers.

Below is a schedule of games where will be setting up. Please let us know if your group would like to help.

Oct 24 Alabama vs Tennessee

Oct 31 Alabama State vs Alabama A&M - Magic City Classic - Legion Field - 2:30 kickoff

Nov 7 Tuskegee vs Stillman College - Tuskegee
